Looking over my carb box and checking the carb heat flapper I could see what I would think to be, to much space between the carb side walls and the flapper (teeter-toter). Even with carb heat off it looks like a lot of light shinning through from the unfiltered side. I know that these air boxes are some what crude but I wonder if my tilt door was replaced and made a little smaller than it should be? If air will take the road of least resistance, then some of my air is not getting filtered. How much is to much space? I don't want this to be the reason my engine won't make it to TBO. Mark
