Cajun Joe
GONE WEST
LS86 or Hammond, LA
It is with great pride in and love for this man that I propose
the following. It is is not to belittle or demean any of his
past recallences but to preserve the memory of the joy
he instilled in each of us who through respect and great
admiration NEVER interrupted one of his recollections.
No matter that it was the fourth or fourteenth time it
was told with a smile, a twinkle and the imparted knowledge
that somewhere there was a line of truth in the telling.
But now.....
with Massey on the sidelines this year it might be a great
time to kick off the "Ruidoso Ron Third Told Story Trophy".
We could all vote by secret ballot Friday afternoon
for the person who, during the week, told the best story
no less than three times while himself enjoying it more
and more with each telling. The trophy itself would
have to be a pasture biscuit, varnished and placed on
a foot long sun cured white pine fence plank. The
inscription would read:
"The Ruidoso Ron That Reminds Me Award"
