SuperCub Politics

As I was watching the local news tonight in Anchorage, a political ad came on with one of the candidates for Governor. In it, he was shown flying his cub and telling the audience that he was straightforward, dependable, unpretentious, loyal etc. - sort of like the airplane he was flying or as he said "I'm just a SuperCub kind of guy".

As the camera zoomed back, he was standing next to his cub - parked next to the current Governor's state jet.

I hadn't paid much mind to him in the campaign, but just because of his ad, he now has my attention.

Well like another Super Cub pilot told me once. "I have never met a Super Cub Pilot that wasn't a really nice person." I agree. He is getting my vote. Not because of the Super Cub Ad but because I think he is smarter with the oil tax. Murkowski appears to be an oil company employee/spokesperson.

I think Sarah will be our next Governor and I think she'll do a great job!
