My best friend just shot an 11 foot Brown Bear on the Alaskan Peninsula. The skull measured 29 3/4". That ties it for number 32 in B&C.
As most of you folks know, I've shot a bunch of bears, and that's a BIG bear.
I've got one very bad pic.

Don't waste a bullet on a bear down on the peninsula. if you want do something put one in a Chinese fishing boat. We live and die on fish...

What type of rifle did u use. Does my 870 with slugs have as much knock down power as mw new stainless 45-70 guide gun ?

Yes, 11 foot is a BIG bear!
I let my mouth overrun my brain and took on more jobs than I could handle. My wings and slats are complete and ready to cover. I've got a couple tubes to install on the fuselage and it will be ready to blast.
I hope to see you this fall. I may be down for Antelope hunting.
