Hi guys,
I came across the LMA plans again and noticed that while most of their plans are for all wood construction, the supercub plans are also available detailed for aluminum const.
I'm curious if these are legitimate designs, I expect they were reverse engineered from stock drawings, hopefully from full size planes and not model aircraft! At any rate I'm pretty intrigued by the process and was wondering if anyone could relate experiences with these plans, good or bad.
I notice the Supercub in wood const meets LSA requirements with an 0-200. Another reason I'm considering it, at my age I start being concerned with hanging onto a medical forever, seen far too many guys spend years building and then selling before ever flying duc to this issue.
Sure would appreciate comments and criticism and any alternatives if you know of any.
Regards,
Chuck
