Shorty went for his first X-C in the C180 yesterday to grandma's house in Joplin. Even though the winds were quite brisk in Joplin, I managed to perform a near-perfect landing and all was quiet. However, upon returning to KMKC that evening my landing was a little more exciting. I was promptly scolded by barking from the back seat. I guess even mutts know when a guy makes a crappy landing.

Steve,

Now you got me to thinking. My dogs cringe when I tell them to get aboard.

I guess I never considered they may actually be considering the ramifications of this order...... :o
