The pilot cabin project is running over budget. LOTS...
I sold a model 70 custom in 358 Norma Mag a couple weeks back during the Super Cub Seminar. That was turned into sheet rock..My wife had a 9mm Lady Smith that was turned into insulation and plywood.
I may be selling more of them to Alaskan pards. Since I need a water heater and a few more things to install.
Any pards who may be looking just e-mail me at
dragonfly@alaska.net
and I can give you a list for wheeling and dealing. I really don't want to list all of them here on a public forum...

As much as I detest guns, I'll e-mail you in hopes that I can keep them off the streets and unsafe hands. After all...I live in California and it's my duty to do this for humanity.

Alex,
Once upon a time I was one of the largest custom homebuilders in the state of Wahington. I don't need any guns but what kind of help do you need?
PS: I owe you anyway...

Alex..have you tried gunbroker.com? I am selling about 10 guns so I can get a pair of 31's. I placed my first gun on there monday a 22 winchester pump magnum model 61. Next gun will be my 300 Savage lever action model 99, and so on. I hate to do this but I hardly ever use the ones I am going to sell....but I will use the 31's everytime I fly. 1-979-826-3277 Mark

Unlike our tweedy bird friends in California or Australia us Montanas can't get enough guns. Guess that is why you never hear of any terrorist incidents here. What ya got big boy to sell. :2gunfire: :9mm

Oh yea! My wife and I agree on guns. I don't have too many guns; I just need a bigger gun cabinet. :luv2:
The fact she is a better pistol shot than I am helps keep the relationship respectful :peeper
Bet they don't teach that in marriage counseling!

Ok here's the story about what is on my left shoe. I have an old Jimmy GMC 4x4 1988 full size, diesel. It has 320 thousand miles on it. Still runs good, do not use oil and will fire up anytime. The glow plug switch went out about 8 years ago. I by-passed the whole system and I have two wires that hang down by my feet. The just lay there almost touching, but never do. Over the years I have trained the wires so when I get in, ussually in the mourning, I take my right foot and scoop up the two wires then smash one wire on top of the other wire against my left shoe. This completes, what I call a foot switch. The amps are high because of the dual batteries and it brands the leather on my tennis shoes. Its cheaper than replacing the glow plug switch but I always have a mark on my shoes. I do have a dog.
If anyone has a Colt Govt. Model .45 in nice shape i am interested.

Thanks for the private replies.
I have a couple sold and one pending... Plus a couple of folks on back-up.
That paid for $1,200 in plumbing pipe and another $600 in sheetrock and fixtures.
Actually I should have sold my old set of Shepherd Bagpipes first. I have not played them in 10 years. I probably could have kept my Sig P-220 that way.

You couldv'e learned how to "Squeeze The Cat". you wouldn't have wasted a whole bunch of quid for "Pipes" and had plenty left over for "Pints"

I tried on and off since 1984 when I bought them in Glasgow.
Back when I was married to The Daughter of Satan, I was not allowed to practice anymore around the house. So I tried the Fire Department building in Petersburg Alaska.
Well, the police dispatchers next door complained that they all were getting headaches and going deaf... Since I worked as a cop there,,,, I was told to take my pipes way far away...
It was the same story for Seward and the Mat Valley.....
Iron Inge, thought they were ok before we got married. Now they seem to get disassembled and put away if I leave the room.
Back in 1985 or so, I was working in Petersburg AK, I had just got back from the dentist and was doped up higher than a kite. The evil one was not home, so I decided to fire up the pipes.
There I was blowing away when the trash truck stopped at the end of the driveway. The guys stopped and started to look under the truck and play with the hydraulic levers. I stopped for a few seconds and they started to get back in the truck. I started playing again, so they halted and resumed looking at the hydraulic mechanisms.
This went on for 5 minutes until I (in my post-dentist doped up state) figured out that they were confusing my noise for a malfunction with their trash hauling truck....
They eventually figured out too and came over to ask if I was the guy who had ticked off all the dispatchers....

Alex,
There is an old saying that a "gentleman" is defined as one who knows how to play the bag pipes - but doesn't.

My oldest son learned to play the clarinet in grade school. I set a lawn chair a ways from the house and as he got better we let him move it closer.
