Does anyone have experience with or knowledge of fire retardant liquid that one could treat seat fabric with?
Presently we seem to be suffering from the problem that our feds are overly anal about documentation on the fire characteristics of seat fabric - even if it has been in the aircraft for ten years or more. Some aircraft owners are facing difficulties with renewing their CofAs on that account.
My thinking is, if one could treat the seat fabric with a fire retardant liquid, the feds might buy into the idea......?
Thanks
Bent
