If I had a lawn tractor to pull my airplane out of the hangar...How would I
hook it to the mains to do that....????
Towing from the tail wheel will not work as it is a T-Hangar...

Okay guys lemme know...

Sam,

Weld a couple of heavy eyelets on the inboard axle stub (angled down) and you can hook up two long pipes similar to what was used on the Stearmans.

pulling out

We had the same problem pulling out j3 from hanger, now we start it first
then grab tail and push it ,very easy with engine running ,just make shure you have clearence for prop ,we have a couple of ideas to push back in but havent tried any, need a good back for that one . Made ice
tracks for skies to run in doesnt seem to help when backing up in hanger

If you put a set of inside ski fittings from Aero Ski (approved already for install) on, then built a towbar to fit the existing holes with a pin to connect the two, that would do it.

Think about a front hitch when doing this

Replace the lower bolts that secure the lower shock strut to the axle on each side with an AN46 eyebolt of the proper length. Make a round or square tubing folding towbar and attach to the eyebolts with pins. Tows like a Stearman. if you want I can email you some pics.
