i put a claim in dec 12th 2005 for r and r of a 235 lyc that went back to the factory for a crank. I was told they would pay the labor but have as of today heard nothing. Has anyone had lycoming pony up any moneys latey for warranty and if so how long did you have to wait????

That is why the shop rate is a little more on warranty work. Piper used to be the worst. Luckily I don't mess with them anymore.

Don't feel bad. We have been dealing with Cont. on an 0-470 for more than a year! So far we are on our 2nd engine, 3rd carb, and they just replaced the cylinders on the "new" engine. Hopefully the circus will be done soon. The last engine had 0 problems in 7 years service.
