For Sale--4 Longeron tube liners

I have 4 pieces of 4130 chromolly steel that has been turned down to fit in the tail area of the longerons to strengthen them.

The outer diameter is turned down to 0.677 and wall thincknes is 0.058, this should fit nicely in a standard 0.750 OD longeron of 0.035 wall thickness.

2 pieces have a length of 16 inches each and 2 pieces are a length of 14 inches each

Anyone here interested in making a reasonable offer? Buyer pays actual shipping cost please.

What are you asking for them? I dont need them but I buy a lot of stuff I dont need.

How about US$50.00 for the set of 4 tubes + actual shipping cost.
Does that sound fair?

Include shipping to 47124 and I will take them for 50.00 if they are no more than .677 and retain an .058 wall.

I will have them measured at work today by our QC dept. and report the exact measurements for you later.

I measured the tubes today at my work

we measured the OD about 1.5 inches from the end of the tube on both ends and then fitted a precision cilindrical plug standard inside to measure the opening (standard was 0.563 OD)

A-14 inch tube OD 0.675 - 0.671 wall 0.056 - 0.054
B-16 inch tube OD 0.673 - 0.672 wall 0.055 - 0.055
C-16 inch tube OD 0.667 - 0.672 wall 0.052 - 0.055
D-14 inch tube OD 0.667 - 0.667 wall 0.052 - 0.052
