View Full Version : 8D1 <->Airventure Bus NOW DIRECT TO THE FRONT DOOR!!!

Dana did some calling, some finagling, some more calling, some more finagling, some faxing of insurance paper work, some more calling and some more faxing and I believe has successfully secured the ability for the New Holstein Airventure Shuttle to go RIGHT to the front gate and elimate the transfer at the seaplane base we have done in previous years! This will save folks about 45 minutes or more on each end of monkeying around to get from the seaplane base to Airventure.

We believe the $2 price increase will still let us break even on the shuttle since we will NOT run on Saturday (only one person rode last year).

Since we had to pay $1 each way for the seaplane bus, it's not really an increase.

As always you both are the greatest. I still do not understand how you find the time to perfect this site and make New Holstein so great. I was planning to take some of the fly in shirts back to the boys in Millinocket ( The Greatest Downeast Super Cub Outpost) Should I pre order or will Dana have spares. Thanks as always John

We can proabably work that out, since you will probably need a one way ride back at some point. Conversely, you could leave the fat cub over at 8D1 and we could all fly it around while you are over at OSH, and then give our impressions to the judges.

If you have some good conections to the judges (As you do the bus personel) we would love to do that. Also, if someone there at NH would buy it we would leave it there with the proud new owner.
