Any Continental E-225-8 Experts in here?

I am putting a Continental E-225-8 in my Smith Aviation Tundra Boss.

I want to put a pre-oiler system on this engine and would like to chat with a mechanic who knows something about this.

The E225 oil pressure gauge comes off a 1/8? NPT hole on the side of the engine block; I think this hole is into the main oil gallery. I am curious if this would be a good place to tie an accumulator. Or would the 1/8? hole be such a restriction the main oil gallery would not pressurize?
