Looking forward to the calendars also. If you don't have a weiner, buy one. Where else can you buy yourself a new weiner?

blackbirds

Dana, If you want to view eagles have Steve fly you up here to SE Montana. Bald and Golden---- we call them blackbirds here and in a half days flying you should see about a hunderd or so.

seems like we are getting more and more bald eagles..... they like to snatch my kids baby ducks in the spring... lose more ducks that way.... Recently I noticed that there is a big bald eagle living in a big birch on the edge of our new Home Depot..... Last summer I had to do a go around due to an eagle flying down (same direction as me) our cabin strip....

Thats it....

Wow..Well if it is Bald Eagle....
I saw one this morning.......

When I looked in the mirror...

On the subject of eagles, I did a short flight the other day coming back from flying and flew about 15 miles of Missouri river. Counted 14 of them on one side of the river. Real easy to spot as their heads are very bright white this time of year, they have not been dunking them in the Missouri river mud too much yet since they just migrated in a few weeks ago.

Next weeked is "smithville eagle days" where they take folks around smithville lake in buses. There are several hundred of them on the lake up there.

We have only seen them around Kansas City for a few years now, at least in any quantity. I was one of those kids that was told I would probably never see one, that they would be extinct. I'm sure there are some farmers that find them less than exciting...

The kitten accepts and is proud of herself for resisting the temptation of the "weiner" thread.

It actually reminded me of that Saturday Night Live skit of "Mr. Schwetty Weiner."

Yes, Mr. Schwetty made nice Christmas balls (I actually saw that skit a couple of days ago) but he also produced the world famous "Schwetty weiner."

Oh, and he also made edible chocolate balls. seriously.

Durn, so much for resisting temptation. 8)

Definitely need to swing back to bald eagles.

Ohhh Ron It was horrible.

When I realized that my comments about getting a weiner were being twisted in such a way that I did not appear the gentleman my Grandmama Robispierre would be proud of, I reread my comments in another light far far far from my intent and all I could think was "erase that garbage now!!" I mean, here's our leader SJ writing his "State of the SuperCub" presentation and then a few lines away we have me in a discussion about candy covered christmas ornaments which were sounding suspiciously like body parts. Humiliating is what it was.
Well, needless to say, since the posting of those comments my unsolicited porn junk-mail has tripled.

Well Joe, I,m glad to see you took the proper corrective action. I'm sure your Grandma Robispierre would have been proud, and I wouldn't have expected anything less. Thank God for good Southern gentlemen!

Yes

And I can now understand how that fine Gentleman President Bill Clinton had such a hard time maintaining his sterling reputation in Arkansas.
Whew, those Ozark Gals!!!!!

Hey, I was begged, coerced, practically forced by some of you to comment on the weiner thread.
I tried to be good, I really did...

Why bill got into trouble

Cause other places you can get a bun for your weiner, steve you should have some buns for our weiners. I have been known for doling out weiners for recognition of faithfulness.Such a good idea ,giving out weiners, for supporting this site.I would like a bun instead, you can give the weiner to someone else. Maybe i need to take my meds,i am losing touch. Remember to keep in touch with youself. P.s. My little honey wants to know if we donate more if i will get a bigger weiner? Reminds me of the greenville takeoff competitions, she said she wanted the loser(the guy who took the longest to get off). She said i was getting off way to quickly.

Hey Steve,

I've noticed there are some 'members' around here missing their 'weiners'. Even the display above is missing "Supporter"

It must have fallen out somewhere... Looks like the 'supporter weiner' needs a 'weiner supporter' to keep it in place.

Eddy,
In these PC days, you can't use the term "weiner supporter" anymore. I believe "athletic supporter" is the currently approved term.

hmm makes me wonder

come to think of it i need a weiner... but i have no cash... maby ill dip into the cub fund for a weiner...
