Saw that at the local computer store. I thought about purchasing it but Mrs. Torch wispered to me that it was for people that didn't have a real Super Cub to fly in the bush. I put is back on the shelf and walked out. I may purchase it in the future, like next winter. :o
HA! She has an excellent point! 8)

Torch, are you sure she just would not give you the money? Or, she politely whispered to you how much you spent on the floats this year?:o

Hi Steve,
I havnt tried this product, but I do know there is a very active segment of Flight Sim community interested in recreating bush flying on their computers.I have always wondered if any members of this forum use Microsofts Flight Sim.

I have used 4 different versions of flight sim and they are surprisingly accurate for a computer simulator. They are especialy useful in keeping sharp for IFR flying.
Ernie.
I have FS2004 and also have that add-on. I love the super cub in it!!! I also bought the USA real scenery add-on DVD....3gigs of more accurate elevation data. makes a huge differance when flying out west.
I enjoyed the cub so much i have been trying a flight across the USA, from long island to south cali. I'm in utah right now at UT54. I've landing at all grass airports, except KYNG(i think) and that was youngstown where my g/f is born and raised.

Ernie,
I find the 4 versions to over simulate the trim on all the aircraft. Otherwise they are right on. What is with the over simulation on the trim control?

I suspect it comes from a programmer working with numbers that has never flown an aircraft in his/her life.
I have found that the payware aircraft are far more correct in responses. The NATS R4D6 has to be about as accurate as any sim aircraft can be. Same with the outstanding J-3 and supercub from FSD. Having flown the PC6 Porter, I found the sim Porter from a group in Australia responds just the same as what I flew. Just a case of writers knowing what a change in numbers will do to flight characteristics.
