I know it has been asked before and I have searched the archives for an answer, but......

I just left my Super Cub in Alaska and will be in Florida for about 3 months. Where can I find a rental or instruction in a Super Cub in Florida. South or central Florida would be most convenient.

I know about the Decathelon in Lantana, and I have flown with Terry Barns _ thanks Terry I'll stop by next spring-l _ in Cross City. Is there any one else out there?

I have a float rating too, so, I'd drive a bit for find a ride on either wheels or floats just to keep the rust from getting two thick while down here.

The man to see is Ron Bull. He offers advanced seaplane instruction in his amphib Top Cub in Central and South Florida. We run fishing trips together out of my base, Oak Harbor SPB near Winter Haven.
Check his web site at RonBullAdventures.com and mine at OakHarbor-rv.com
Ron has a description his qualifications of some of the instruction that he offers including instrument, GPS using his Garmin 530, advanced seaplane and more.
We also have a J3 available.
Let me know if you have any questions or have a problem finding the web sites.

Gregg,Tim,

Gregg,

I have looked at both yours and the Ron Bull site. Since Ron indicates he operates out of F45 - about 20 minutes away- I'll talk to him first. Your place at Haines City looks inviting too. It is good to see cubs in the pads.

I will be in touch. Thanks for the information.

Tim,

The bear were thin this year, although I had some nights of 3 or 4 in the compost. Electricity was even thinner. Frankly, I'll never forget the kindness of you and the folks at Pomona Park. I'll give you a call when I get up the nerve to come up and clear the brush from the lake property.

Did you ever put the VGs on the 2 Plus 2 ?
