Anyone have an opinion on the best place to park in Lubbock? I'm hoping to be there for a few nights late next week, and I haven't figured out where there's good transient GA parking. Have to be "downtown" for meetings while I'm there.
Thanks,
Kenneth

Got a good friend at Shallow Water just outside Lubbock with a grass strip full of cool airplanes. I could give him a call. The main airport has a GA side and the controllers are very helpful. It would be easier to rent a car etc. there.

Thanks Steve, might drop by just to see the cool airplanes. Sadly departure is delayed as the A&P's haven't quite finished the "go fast" mods.

A Cessna 140 buddy of mine sent me this.
Saw your post regarding Lubbock. I'd recommend Lubbock Aero. I parked in their hangar when I flew there this summer. They treated me like I was piloting a Gulfstream. Parked me inside the hangar at no charge to keep the plane cool during the day too.

Thanks, I'll check with them as soon as I get the bird on the road. Second flight post-rebuild had to wait until today, they just couldn't finish in the time alloted, so I'm hoping for good weather in the morning.
