Anybody from Kalamazoo? Seems I bought a 10'x10'x10' curing oven up there off of salvagesale.com. Going to have to come up and take it apart and haul it back. Any thing fun to do while I'm up there.

Steve,
I'm about 20 SW of Ka'zoo. Not the most exciting place on earth. There is a pretty good air museum at the airport and Waco Aircraft is at Battle Creek a few miles east. I'm not up on the church socials if that's your thing but if cold beer and airplane lies are to your liking I now some folks.
Let me know when your planning to be there and I see if I'm in town.
If you need any specific info let me know.
Bob D.

Depends upon how long you're here for, Steve. The K'zoo Air Zoo (the aviation museum mentioned above) is a lot of fun, and you can spend a few hours there. You can fly into KAZO, and taxi right to it.

Not too far from K'zoo is Battle Creek, home of Kellogg's cereals, and you can take a tour through the factory.

If you're flying up here, there are some nice airports along the Lake Michigan shore. If you fly and you're here on the weekend, stop by Ann Arbor, or we'll meet up for lunch somewhere. We've got a few grass strips that stay open until December, with a restaurant within walking distance. Let me know!

Anne.

I'll be driving up to disassemble this big oven and haul it back to Texas. Not looking very forward to it but trying to find something fun to do while I'm there. Cathy said she wants to go so at least I'll have someone to talk to. I'll keep you posted. Thanks.
