I think my bungies are oem from 94 and I want to change them, What is the best bungie tool and where is there a piper published procedure on the replacement or any for that matter?

I have built several bungee install tools over the years and one model made from a "basic" old style bumper jack is posted in the photo gallery

Depending on your location you might find it best to just take the hydrasorbs to a shop that does cubs and have them do it. You will most likely never do enough of them for your own use to warrant the building of a tool, (unless you like to tinker and are a welder?)

PS: most of us that "use the cub"in the rough stuff will use the "natural rubber bungees 1280 and 1380, one of each (this is only a suggestion) as I personally let the 'tundra' tires do the work unless it is really necesary to work the bungees!
