To all those in NO. VA. just moved here, had the airplane 66 pa18 150, flown to virginia for me, lost 2 cyl on the way made the rest of the trip in the back of a uhaul, but o-hauled the engine and just about done.

Any ideas about a grass strip with possiable living quarters within about 30 min of dulles?

I believe Summit Point may have one or two lots on a "currently being constructed" grass strip "3000' " Their pricy though, like about 60 or 70K. I know of no rentals to live in on any grass around the area.

I lived in ashburn and worked at dulles for a while. I flew with a guy in the NAVY that lives on a strip somewhere south of there near manassas. I'll try to find out where that is. Also look at Airlie (i think its spelled correctly) but I don't that any of us can afford that place. You can find out about it if you ask around. Something to do with polititions and CIA and..., well just ask someone who the groundskeeper is, you'll be suprised. its on the sectional.
