Kollsman Altimeter

HELP, Anyone know of a good replacement for a altimeter that appears to be tango uniform? While out the other day, I watched my 100 feet needle drop out about 200 feet for no reason at all. My current altimeter is a Kollsman part # 671BK-03. Can you get these things rebuilt or is it better to buy a new or yellow tagged? Any info would be appreciated!! Thanks

You can get them rebuilt for between $125-$150. I use Rudy A/C Instruments in Rudy AR. 501-474-8759. Quick turn around and fair prices.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Overhaul definitly sounds and cost better than a new unit. Man, a new United here in FAI goes for close to six. Hell I only use the fist couple of numbers unless I got some hills in the way. Cheers
