Needed to get more air to the front seat, so... Ducted off baffle to cabin heat box (heat in "Lovely Fresno", yeah right!), from heat box to "Wemac" adjustable eyeball vent mounted in the center of the instrument panel...

Works great, lasts a long time...

You got one up for the EXPERIMENTAL advantages list...

You EXPERIMENTED and it WORKED CONGRATULATIONS......

Gee Cuby, now that you know the installation works is it worth doing the extra (paper) work to get an STC for it (or does the FAA have rediculous rates to apply for an STC now like Transport Canada does for them up here??) Then you could sell the piece of paper to all the certified guys for $150, just to copy your installation in their certified cubs!! :D

Irish...

Fortunately there's no charge for a STC application... Engineering would probably require a DER to wave his magic wand over the project and that can get expensive...

If I wanted to do this to a "real" airplane, I'd try the field approval route... Sorry Mark, just had to say that... :cheers
