PA-12 Fiberglass Cowling

I'm trying to track down an STC to allow a fiberglass PA-18 cowling to be installed on a PA-12. It appears that the plane that I'm about to buy has a supercub nose, but I can't find anything other than a field approval for it. The STC referenced in the 337 that was filed is bogus (and the IA who signed off on the work isn't very helpful).

Anyone done this mod know of a -12 STC for a fiberglass cowl?
