How about the formulation of auto gas to help emmissions? The major companys( the only ones left) have changed the formulation of auto gas many times over the last few years, some changes driven by greed and some driven by EPA mandated changes. We found changes in pump gas effecting raceing engines a great deal. The gas goes sour sooner and seems to cause greater wear in carbs and fuel injectors, as well as fuel pumps.

I have a question I was told when I shutdown my engine I should see a increase in RPMs before the engine stops. I see no increase in RPM when shuting down my engine I have flow this engine for over 300 hrs with no trouble. Should my engine increase rpms when I lean it for shutdown? I am running a 150 hp wide deck and only burn avgas.
