"No fuel in a right turn"........Haven't we had this discussion before?
In coordinated flight with positive G's, the gas is in the bottom of the tank, just like the plane is level. Pitch and bank angle make no difference.
It takes approximately 3 minutes of continuous flight feeding on the right tank, with the right tank low on fuel, in a uncoodinated (top rudder) turn before the engine quites.
The left should run longer because of the header tank outlet being on the left, I forgot to test it, but I will. I've done flow tests on the stock system for the Fed's, and it is more than enough for any engine that you may wish to install on a Cub.
The supposed crashworthiness of this system seems kind of silly. Adding fuel outlets, lines, vents, all around the passanger compartment is better than HD headers? This along with the potential cross feeding, uneven feeding problems, less usable fuel, and not being able to manage the system as well...no thanks.
