You might have an air leak in the hoses and tubing leading from the pitot to the airspeed indicator. Plug the pitot and pull the hose off the airspeed indicator. Put an airchuck to the hose and apply about 20-30 psi. If it leaks there will be no back pressure when you pull the chuck away and you will most likely hear it hissing somewhere. Crash
